Teanaway
The Teanaway area is known for it’s beautiful scenery where common activities include hiking in the Teanaway forest and fishing in the Teanaway River. Here you will find historic farms and barns including the Masterson Farm founded in 1880.
Children of the early residents of the Teanaway Valley and Swauk Prairie received their education in this a room schoolhouse until 1937 when the school districts were consolidated in Cle Elum and the building and land were deeded to the Swauk Teanaway Grange.
